Super Heroes & Super Heroines
Monday: Artists sketched and handbuilt their own super creature/person with the slip & score ceramic technique.
Tuesday: While the clay is being bisque fired in the kiln, it’s Tie Dye Day!
Wednesday: Artists learn about underglazine and clear gloss glazing and design their sculpture colors to resemble their sketch.
Thursday: We talked about comic books and how they are different when compared to chapter books. The word “Onomatopoeia” was learned and we looked at a Princess Lea Comic Book and Calvin & Hobbs. A story was planned and began being written in their own books.
Friday: Artists finished their comics with colored pencil to be ready for the show!
